I can't believe that it snowed in Charleston this year! How fun! We were all like little children seeing snow for the first time. For Miriam, it actually was the first time. We went to Oakland right after breakfast so we could enjoy the snow before it melted. As Shay and James pulled each other on a knee board behind Shay's truck, Miriam and I played. She didn't quite know what was going on or whether or not she liked it. I know I am a terrible mother not having gloves on Miriam, but I never even bought her a pair... it is Charleston you know!

We actually got to take a family photo. Hooray!.... and yes, I got bangs! Decided to spice it up a bit before Essie gets here. Too bad the first picture that I have taken with my new do was after no shower, no makeup, and 2-day old dirty hair :) Oh well, it was snowing after all... no time to shower!
