Sweet naked baby

After spitting up all over her outfit, Miriam chills out in her diaper.  She is just letting it all hang out with her Auntie Em! 

Brer Fox, Brer Bear, and Uncle Remus

One of Shay's favorite memories as a child was reading Uncle Remus with his dad. Emily was so sweet to find an original Uncle Remus book and give it to Miriam for Christmas. Usually while I am cooking dinner, Shay and Miriam have daddy/daughter time reading the book. He is so good at doing the Gullah voices and Miriam just coos and smiles at him.  

Its been a while...

Since I have become a mom, I have noticed how fast time really flies by. I can't believe it has been since January 30 that I have posted anything on the blog. Sorry for the delay! 

We are all doing wonderful. Miriam changes every day and each day gets more and more fun. I didn't have my camera for a while, but now I have it back and the many pictures that I take of my beautiful daughter has begun again.

She has really begun to smile and make noises. It is such a joy to here her find her voice. We love to have girl talk!  Here are some random pictures of her playing, talking, and smiling. I love her so much!
