Joyful Joyful!

I just had to post this picture because it is such a sweet picture of my little girl. I am amazed at how much joy she has every day and how contagious it is. You can't help but smile and be in awe of what God has created. I am so blessed by her!

My Friends!

We went and visited with the precious girls I nannied for up until I had Miriam. She loves to hang out with her friends Maysen and Mackenzi. They are so sweet to play with her and give her so much lovin'!

Splishin' and Splashin'

Miriam's first time in a pool! At first, she looked so confused with her brows tensed and lips puckered out, but then started laughing and splashing around. Auntie Em was also able to be there to see this first! Is she not the most precious thing in the whole world!? (but I guess I am pretty biased)

Hammock Time

Around 6:00, Miriam starts to get pretty fussy... who can blame her after eating, sleeping, and playing all day long :).  Her favorite thing during this time is running in the stroller and swinging in the hammock.

My New Favorite Toy

Miriam has now outgrown her swing and really only likes to sit in her infant seat to eat sooooo... we had an outing to BabysRus and picked up a couple new toys, an exersaucer and a doorframe jumper. Even though both her feet can't quite touch the ground completely, she LOVES her new exersaucer and is precious when she discovers all the toys on it. 

French Toast Saturdays

We have started a new tradition... French Toast Fridays. This past weekend it turned into French Toast Saturday but either way I just love getting up and cooking breakfast for my sweet family. Of course Miriam gets her usual baby oatmeal and milk, but she enjoys hanging out with us as I cook.  

Playdate

My good friend Alli nannies for a little girl named Sofie and she is only two weeks younger than Miriam.  They came over to play yesterday and Miriam was so excited to see them and so eager to play with Sofie.... Sofie on the other hand was not as enthusiastic. 

YUMMMM!!! Real food!

About 2 weeks ago Miriam started getting really cranky at random parts of the day which is not like our sweet even tempered little one so I had a theory... our "little" one needed more food!  

We started her on rice cereal and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. She is such a mess! For the first week she would suck her thumb before even swallowing the cereal so it would just run down her arm, but now she is opening her mouth for the spoon and swallowing like a big girl. With a full belly, our sweet girl is happier than ever!

And almost a month later...

Between going out of town, keeping up with the house, and my new favorite hobby, sewing, I haven't posted anything in a while... so sorry for the delay! 

It has been a pretty eventful month, Miriam is now drinking only formula, eating rice cereal three times a day, rolling all over the house, and trying her hardest to crawl though she only ends up scooting around on her belly.  

We also had a doctors appointment last week which went really well. She is a very healthy little girl weighing 15 lbs 10 oz and measuring 25.5 inches long.
