Introducing Baby Essie!

I am proud to say I have another GORGEOUS baby girl! What an absolute blessing that could have only come from our Heavenly Father. Introducing for the first time, Esther James Gregorie (Essie) or as we like to call her Essie Lou. Coming into this world on April 27, 2010 at 3:02pm weighing 8lbs 9 oz and measuring 21 inches long.

I do love a good birth story, so I will post those details later. For now, enjoy some of the first pictures of our little Essie.

Where is Essie?

For just a little update, little Essie was due to arrive yesterday.... but she is still nice and comfy in my belly. I guess she is going to fall in her sister's footsteps and make her arrival in her own sweet precious time. I am going back to the doctor on Monday to have an ultrasound and a nonstress test to make sure Essie is still doing well. If the tests show that she doesn't have enough room or that she is stressed in any way, then they will induce that day. If she is still doing fine, then we will schedule an induction for Wednesday or Thursday and hope that she decides to come on her own before then. We are very ready to meet our sweet baby girl so please keep us in your prayers for a safe and healthy delivery.

Resurrection Sunday

I am not quite sure why the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ is called Easter considering that "Easter" is the Greek god of fertility, so in our house we prefer Resurrection Sunday.

This year was wonderful because we were able to spend it with both sides of our family. The Banks family came in the morning for church and lunch. Then we went to the Gregorie house for late afternoon.

Miriam is now saying all her grandparents names except for Grandma which she is getting pretty close to saying. She has a Bubba, Nana, Papa, and Grandma.

Here are so pics from our lunch cookout with the Banks fam.

Me, my sister Kelton, and my huge belly. Essie is due in 2 weeks and I am soo ready for her to get here!

Day at the Beach

The weather has been absolutely beautiful this past week so we took advantage of it by going to the beach. I wasn't sure how Miriam would react to all the sand and the ocean, but OH BOY did she love it! I couldn't keep up with her... she played in the sand, splashed around in the ocean, and made friends with everyone around us. I was completely unprepared for the beach, so we went shopping that morning to get all the necessities. She was such a diva in her new
bathing suit, hat, and sunglasses.
