My New Swing

Daddy put up a new swing hanging from an oak tree in our back yard for Mommy and Miriam. (Mine is an adult swing obviously :) ) It is so great to have such a handy husband! Miriam is still a little small for the swing, but she seemed really relaxed. Here is a video of Miriam enjoying her new toy.

Easter Sunday

My favorite part about this Easter was I got to dress up my little girl in her Easter outfit which I bought before she was even born. Good thing it fit her!

Storytime with Mommy

As I am reading Miriam her bedtime stories, which always includes Goodnight Moon, I ask Daddy to take a picture since it is usually me behind the camera. Putting her to bed is one of my favorite times of the day. She loves to read even reads with me sometimes and she always says her prayers along with me... cooing and talking as I say the Lord's Prayer. It is the most precious thing. What is so wonderful is that I know God is listening to her and understands everything she is saying.

What a Big Girl!

Miriam is one week shy of 4 months old and she is growing like a weed. I love to see her smile and make her laugh. Here are a few random pictures that we have taken of our growing girl.

Also, Miriam got cleared by the physical therapist on her neck. He says that she has really improved on her mobility especially looking toward the left and shouldn't have any problems in the future. God is so good!

We introduced the Bumbo chair to her today and she has a great time sitting up like a big girl.

Miriam loves her Aslan that Uncle Otis and Aunt Julie gave her. She sleeps with it for every nap and at bedtime! She definitely got those big eyes from her daddy.
